Probably the biggest band that Britain has ever produced is now over 50 years old. In august 1962 the band emerged for the first time as the ‘fab four’. For seven years this band produced some of the most iconic music the world has ever heard. It is no surprise that even today people love to listen to their music, generations come together to simply appreciate one of the greatest ever bands.
The Beatles originated from Liverpool and their accents were instantly recognisable. They became a global success, but in the UK their stardom was almost instant. Their debut album “Please Please Me” was number 1 in the UK for 29 weeks alone.
The music that The Beatles produced defined the soundtrack of a generation. They are probably the best tribute to the 60’s era. While times have moved on, the love of the music that they produced hasn’t.
With the global success of the band the members were well rewarded financially. As with most young men, The Beatles members loved their sports cars. It is hard to find information on the cars that The Beatles drove, but we done just that. We have found a lot of information about the different cars that John, Paul, George and Ringo drove.
The music that The Beatles created is still celebrated in the UK. Even 50 years after The Beatles launched to stardom, Paul McCartney is still performing at events on the global stage. He contributed to both Queen Elizabeth’s Golden Jubilee and in the opening ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics by performing live at both events. The global draw of The Beatles continues for both young and old. We highly suspect that even once all the members stop performing, their global reach is likely to live on for a very long time.
