It seemed only fair to include a hybrid in this list, and the Prius is a classic that continues to hit the mark. For the environmentally-conscious family, the Prius offers an economical and efficient ride, while still providing the level of comfort and boot space you’d want in a family car.
Its bold and eye-catching design makes it slightly edgier than the other cars we’ve chosen, but it’s all a matter of taste.
Buyers have the choice of two types of Prius - the standard hybrid, and a plug-in version with a larger battery pack, that can drive further on electric power alone.
